community4you AG was initially based in the Technology Centrum Chemnitz (TCC) on the Annabergerstraße 240 in Chemnitz. After only a short period the community4you had established very successful both nationally and internationally. The number of employees raised as the situation concerning orders has settled in the upper sector. The rapid expansion made it necessary to move into larger business premises.
In 2003, Uwe Bauch and Janko Nebel of the Bauch-Nebel GbR began with the search for a suitable property for their software company community4you. The choice fell on a property with historical background. Their consent on the basis of restitution claims by the Chemnitz City Council - with the contractual obligation of the creation of 50 jobs - took place within 10 years. After acquiring a historic villa on the Haendelstrasse 9 in Chemnitz followed its meticulous restoration.

In 2004, already on year after, took place the relocation of the community4you into the Villa in Chemnitz. In 2008, the solemn name consecration of the company’s headquarter took part in "Villa Hahn", named after the former residence of Dr. Carl H. Hahn, honorary citizen of the city of Chemnitz and former President of Volkswagen AG.
On the occasion of his upcoming 88th anniversary honored community4you AG on June 24, 2014 the life's work of Prof. Dr. Carl Hahn with the unveiling of a portrait bust, which was given a special place at the premises of the villa.
